Wandermapp App

 

 

The brief was to develop a unique app and design its branding and identity. Wandermapp is a pocket travel journal app that allows the user to record details of their travels. The name 'Wandermapp' is inspired by the wanderlust traveller and wanderer. 'Mapp' reflects a physical map and the idea that it is a portable app.

The design is contemporary and fresh to appeal to the broad target audience. It is intended to be classic and timeless to ensure long-term use. The clean aesthetic and limited colour palette allows the user to easily navigate through the app. The placeholder imagesare eye-catching and appealing to entice the user to use the app. The asterisk in the logo represents an abstract compass, the red used to indicate North.
